Grd: I bought a belt that allows you to put three of them across your back just like the old Joniee warmer belts. I saw at either G/M or Dicks they now make socks that have a pocket on top of the toe to put these in. I'm going to pick up a set for the wife. I'll let you guys know how these work.

I use the hard warmer you see football players using on TV. I wear light gloves or none at all and these warmers are real nice. For years I wore a black one that was a gift from a Football booster in High School. Last year I bought one in Mossy Oak! They have slots inside for the hardwarmewr packets, but I have not yet needed them.

have to agree with the rest. also have one of the belts, place it around lower back and hunt all day. also picked up a seat cushion you put in mircowave, this thing stays hot all day to.

Never tried them but will get some for sure! Normally never wear gloves or use anything.

i used them a few times during the heavy snow conditions hunting over the years, but other then that i usually go bare hands.
can't stand anything over my trigger finger, i keep my trigger adjustment set rather light and i worry gloves may make me end up squeeze'n off before i am ready.

seriously, I found a much better way that doesn't end up with stuff to be scrapped like the spent hot hands. I have a VERY thin pair of cotton gloves and use one of those insulated "muffs" that you wear like a belt. My hands actually roast in it and often I even remove the gloves all together. This rig will last nearly forever and you don't have to keep buying those disposable chemical bags. AND for those of you who want the best of both worlds, they even have a pocket in the muff for a Hot Hands.

gullythumper, I have one of those "muffs" where it has a pocket in it for one of those hot hands, it works great. I also have socks that have a pocket in them too. It's always my hands and feet that get cold all the time.

i don't know about anyone else, but if my feet get cold i am cold clean to the bone!
but then again thats why i have 1000 gram thinsulate boots and heavy socks that i wear on the really cold days.
i can stick my hands in my jacket if they get cold, but its sort of hard to do with my feet ;D
