Anyone know anything about the Garmin eTrex H? Saw in the Bass Pro Sale paper that they got it on sale for $80 reg. $100
Would like to get a GPS to get into geocaching

I dont know much about these units , but i believe this model is a entry level unit and at $80.00 sounds like a great buy.

I purchased one of these last year it doesn't have alot of bells and whistles and for the novice like myself a very good unit to start with.......
I used it this past hunting season, first day of archery I hunted state game lands and walked in with another fellow..he had posted glow tacks and I had a position entered on my gps well we entered the woods and during daylight you never see all the glow tacks left from other hunters, i was able to go directly to my site and left him there scratching his head wondering which of the tacks to follow....
I'm planing on using it for fishing spots on Pymatuning this year...
I also took my children geocacheing and had no problem finding the chache.....
I will note that when in heavy cover I lost satellite reception but i think all units have this problem to some degree, thats why I still carry the old faithful compass with me still....
for the price this is probably the best unit you'll get, I promise you'll be satisfied with it..
Hopefully this helps, If you have any other questions I'll try to answer them for ya but remember I'm still a novice with this unit as well.....
