if you dont have one get one its the only gun youll ever need just change the barrel,the muzzleloaders are 250 yard guns,,very accurate you wont want to take your rifle again..

Buckslayer is trying to start a fight to stir activity. An Encore CAN also be a horrible PIA. I've owned three of them - one of which drove me to sniffing glue. And it's the one I kept because - after all that time, work, and investment - it's a great shooting .45 muzzleloader. It's a stainless model with a tarnished past. The other two were blued and boring - shot well from the start although one needed a bit of trigger work.

I guess I am lucky..................... I have a .17 Remington that shoots sub MOA I have a .257 Roberts that shoots MOA I have a 209x50 barrel that shoots sub MOA------3 shots with 2 holes!!!!

I have one and love it SS Camo 50 cal inline 25-06 and hope this deal goes threw with the slug barrel. ;D
