I just picked up my new .50 cal GPR flintlock with the fast 1:32 barrel. I can't wait to shoot this rifle. I was shooting my Lyman Trade rifle the other day and it really got me in the mood for the up and coming flintlock season.

Dec 28 a group of us are planning to get together in Michaux SF for a late season flintlock hunt. We got together last year and had a good time but produced no meat. Well, this year we are going to change that. We will be doing some organized drives again this year. Should not be as grueling as that one drive last year. We will meet at the dam breast parking lot at Laurel Lake, Pine Grove Furnace State Park.
