I still have my muzzleloader and just may have a chance to get all the goods for it and my liscense to do the late season hunt. Any ways when its time to leave the woods and put the gun back in the vehicle, whats the proper way to do so. I was always told you have to shot a crossbow to unload it and thought the same about the muzzleloader but to me it just dosent seem right. so how do you do it?

Unprime it and it is unloaded. If it's a flinter, unprime it and stick a feather quill in the touch hole. A tooth pick will work also. Check page 20 of the Hunting and Trapping digest for the legal stuff.

Most come with a 209 adapter to fit in-lines. Pushes sabots out w/no problem.
