topping off my 44 leaning towards are red dot,or should i get a 2 powered scope??

For hunting buck....get a good 2X. i had a red dot & didnt like it for hunting.

RED DOT....just easier to find in the woods...your not going to be shooting that far anyway..it's more than enough and no power...

A doe I killed with 2x Leupold on a 44 Super Redhawk. I found that hunting deer in typical heavy cover...i favored the Leupold Duplex reticle. I used the red dot & didnt like it. High lung hit but the 44 did the job!

44 will always do the job.. You bet. It was a high lung hit but that 44 MAG 240 GR HP/XTP opened up nicely & deer stumled a few feet & dropped.
