my father had gone to one of these camps when i was younger. it was him and his buddy and they both got one. my father had shot the biggest one ever shot there actually. they didnt even know they had one as big as his! i wish i could find the picture of it his boar is almost double the average boar his buddy got. he was going to have his other friend mount it but the guys freezer died and the head was ruined. my dad was pretty upset. he offerd to take me on one of these hunts but im not sure if i would like it because of the whole caged hunt.

Steve Mohr runs an operation on a large island in the Susquehanna river. Choose your weapon. Hogs and exotics...a hog'll go up to about 350 lbs and that s about the cost in dollars too. Not fair chase, but good eatin and lots of fun with a bow or a smoke pole.

WOW!!! Nice hogs there paheritage!!!
Caryonah is pretty close to Loshbough's who I have done 3 Hog Hunts with. I know some folks that hunted with Caryonah & were please with them.
BTW, still a few openings on our Nov 2008 TN Hog Hunt (Flintlocks/Bows Only). Be great if you could join or any other folks here at PA-Outdoors! SEE Trad ML Forum for details.

avoid highridgehuntingpreserve just south of Johnstown. Its a joke and the information is very misleading. You might as well shoot a pig on the football field of a local school.
