I watched a crew head into the patch of woods behind my house so I might go back there with my bow this evening. I take advantage of the fact these guys don't know the deer like me. They hit certain areas and the deer huddle into a cpl pockets when pressured.

I saw two sets of deer tracks 15 yards west of the stand I didn't hunt this morning, and I saw one set of tracks 40 yards east of it. I heard a grouse flush 50 yards or so away. Then to top off my empty tag season, mother nature bruised my behind by having me slip on the ice under the 8 inches of snow not once, but 4 times. She's a mean one. But the good news is, we have seed for next year.
