I have a nosler manual and it keeps referring to Winchester WLR primers. I can't find this type listed anywhere. I can only find 6 1/2, 8 1/2, and 8 1/2M. I assume the M stand for Magnum.
Anyone tell me anything about this?

I've have about 40 years of experience reloading both...the .22/250 is a remarkable cartridge, capable of shooting 1/2 groups without any problem.. The testing that I've done on my own were with factory barreled Remington 700's, about 10 of them over the years..I always lightned the triggers to somewhere in the 2.5 pound area, makes a big difference off the bench shooting... break in the barrel correctly etc...using benchrest quality bullets...and straight line bullet seating equipment..I've made all of them shoot sub1/2 groups without much of a problem.. I always partially size the neck, to about 1/3 of it's length... and seat the bullet to just about that line..just touching the rifling in some of them... I've found that IMR 4064 is without question the most accurate rifle powder, and I've shot just about every powder that will work in that cartridge, it seems to always come back to 4064 for whatever reason... somewhere in the 34.0's...and surprisingly the WLR primers gave the best results after testing every brand made...it's the only cartridge that I reload for that uses W/W primers...as far as the old /06, H-4350 seems to do the trick in most of them, I used to use this cartridge alot more than I do today.. don't really know why I left it.. it's more than capable than handling every hunting condition.. you have two winners with those two for sure.

IN THIS day and age of HOARDING by our fellow reloaders over the unfounded fears of nothing... you'll be lucky if you can find any large rifle primers made by anyone..let alone a specific manufacturer... Good Luck... anyone who see some Federal 205 GM primers, I'll pay a finders fee to..!!!!!!
