Can anyone tell me where I can find some good native trout fishing in the Marienville area? Or know of any other trout fishing in that area that would be decent in the winter months? Thanks!!!

those are some of the one's i couldn't remember. also some nice creeks across the bridge in east hickory or is it west. the one across the river. also check out the salmon creek water shed lot's of nice creeks in that area. you can travel the area along the access road there. can't remember where it starts near marienville but it ends at the corps of engineers camp ground below the flying w horse ranch on 666 at tionesta creek

You can actually take the road the entire length of the creek. Yes, Toms run by the ranger station is what I was referring to.

I know exactly where you're talking about... we camp along that stretch of salmon creek a couple times every summer. Never been up there to fish during trout season though.... Do they stock that whole stretch along the access road???

They do stock the entire creek along the access rd. But as you probably know not as many fish as they used to.
