Just wanted to share some pics from the training season so far. Besides training on my own I have been training with a couple local NAVHDA Chapters. Here are some pics from the NAVHDA training days: German Wirehaired Pointer retrieving a pheasant. Another GWP retrieving another pheasant. A GSP retrieving a pheasant. An English setter on point. English Setter retrieving the chukar he pointed. A view of the bog we use for our duck work. One of the best ponds for duck searches. One of our members helping out. Wirehaired Pointing Griffon returning with a duck after a nice duck search. A GSP showing some nice desire as he crashes through the lily pads. Same shorthair retrieving a duck. A young WPG waiting her turn to run with the big dogs. A French Pointer doing a duck search. A GWP retrieving a duck after a duck drag on land.

We train on SGL's, but that is one of the nice things about training with NAVHDA chapters, they get permits to train on the grounds allowing us to use ducks.

No NAVHDA chapters within 2.5 hrs of me, to far for training for me when I can do all but a duck search here locally. (plus I contacted one chapter & never got a return......I'm not ambitious enough to train for a duck search to chase a club down, LOL!!)
