Dear Members, I'm considering buying the new Weatherby SA-08 20 gauge semi-automatic but my only concern is that it's made in Turkey. If anyone has information pro or con about these Turkish made guns I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you, Ron

there are a few manufacturers who are using Turkish mfg's to produce their guns. Some are very good quality and some are not. I had a Traditions semi and as far as I'm concerned it was a piece of crap. Almost all of the mid-east autos now have a darn plastic trigger housing, which I hate. If a hole is drilled even a fraction out of line, you can wind up with all kinds of problems. Hard to beat the Rem 1100, or 1187's with the metal trigger housings.
