I know there's a few White Rifle owners here. Anyone have any experience with the 209 Conversion 's or know of anyone that got one?? Here's a pic of redesigned hammer plunger & 209 breech plug. Looks like well made components.

Larry, I have one that came with the UltraMag. I haven't used it as I've found the RWS #11 caps is all that I need. The next time out shooting I'm going to try some musket caps. Why, cause I bought them a long time ago and figured I might as well try them before they go bad. That is if they ever go bad??
If I was to try them I was thinking of trying that coversion where they use the shell to the 209, but use a small rifle primer as the primer. I have to check which website advertises that conversion kit.

Too many problems existed with the 209 conversion kit. Stuck primers,,broken retainer springs,,etc. I see no reason to ever change from the #11 plugs,,unless you use pellets. Just too much hassle from what I've heard.

Jeff, I agree, if I was going to use strickly Pellets in my White, then I would use a Musket Cap. Musket Caps especially RWS caps have more than enough to ignite Pellets. For that matter so has RWS #11 caps, but I'd probably go with the musket caps for that little extra insurance.
