Tuesday's edition of the Washington Observer-Reporter writes that Daniel Habe of Chartiers Twp involved with the May 2009 shooting of three coonhounds, one of which died, will get jail time, probation, reimburse vet care costs and possibly pay restitution for the value of the trained coonhounds, which is not insubstantial. The man's brother who actually shot the dogs has since died. There is a God. Since Daniel Habe was convicted of a felony, he'll not be allowed to ever own a firearm.
