Well I was out to fire the smoke sticks today. Then it happened. The hammer free fell straight back after a shot and just stayed there. Took it home and took it apart, sure enough the the main spring was in two parts. As luck would have it (maybe I should buy a lottery ticket tonight) I call my son to tell him what happened and he says that I have one in a box in the basement. ? OK so I do have one. So now the big question. Do I need a special tool to install this part or is there some trick to get this part installed. It is a Traditions rifle and it has a standard type lock with double triggers. The set trigger and the release. I have three day to do this or I will have to go to my backup gun and or get .54 patches and balls and sight in another rifle. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
