Dear Governor Corbett......In your recent budget you cut millions in education funding.Let me give you a suggestion. Instead of cutting education funding, How about chargeing all these gas companies an extraction tax. I have heard the arguement we dont want to scare them away, let me state we have the gas they want it and they are not going any where. We are giving these companies our gas from below Pa earth and getting nothing but bad roads polluted streams and devastated land scapes. I live here in Tioga county, my front yard is Pine creek which for the moment is a pristine stream, and I see on a daily basis what this gas exploration is doing to our once peacefull and beautiful area. Please sir consider our plight, protect our wonderous state from these big companies assault and add dollars to the state fund. I may only be 1 person but I'm not the only one concerned.......Thank you

Ps, Make the tax structure more attractive to business in Pa. instead of chasing people out or away!

You're right. The gas companies won;t be scared away. That's BS. Wonder how much the gas company lobbiests are paying Corbett's campaign??? Did you send the letter?
