Since it was to be a beautiful day, a friend and I decided to try our luck trout fishing. We hit Mammoth Park in Westmoreland County. The lake was stocked last Tuesday. We watched trout rising everywhere, and many were cruising the shoreline. We fished for over two hours and never got a bite. That was OK with us. It felt good to be out.
