I have a 24 gun Winchester safe. It has the digital push button in front. I want to change the 9 volt bat. in it. My ? is will me password stay or does it default?

most things like that (electric locks, programable remotes, ect.) have an internal memory that lasts a short time after power is cut. i would switch the battery quickly though some memories are as short as 10 sec. we had several electric locks in one of the buildings i worked in

how did the battery swap work out for you? did the safe reset to default or retain the password

I got it! I did look at there web sight and basicaly when you do it you have about 10 seconds. Thanks Bearslayer
