whos been hunting so far this year and how are ya making out? I was out the first sat. of goose and seen a few but had none commit. Looks as if the geese are starting to come into the area more and more each day. The ducks don't seem to be alot around as of yet.

I was the same way untill 3 years ago I went with a buddy and needless to say I am addicted! Its kind of like turkey hunting, you see them hear them and the adrenaline when they are locked up and coming in is second to none. You need to go with someone sometime and give it a try I'm sure you would love it. I learn something new every hunt from calling to decoy set up. It is an expensive addiction however ! LOL

I have been out 20 days this year for ducks and have bagged 28 so far. Just can't put together more than a bird a day recently if that. They are just no down yet. as far as geese go have no found the numbers I am looking for to set up for them. I only hunt waterfowl because there is nothing that compares to adrenaline rush of seeing birds aways out there and watching them get closer and closer. As far as expense it is what you make of it. I personally have spent more than i ever thought possible and lots more to buy.

Hopefully we get a cold snap soon so they start comming down here! I will be out tomorrow for geese. We have a pretty good flock where we hunt but even they are still mostly local birds. We need the migrators! LOL
