wow great pics. i read that pa bears dont actually hybernate they go into more of a deep sleep. maybe its the warm weather and still available food thats keeping them awake. jmo

They hibernate depending of availabilty of food source. When food is abundant, less need to hibernate.

tracer there seemed to be alot of bears this year and they seemed to disperse farther than normal. we even had one killed in a county that usually doesnt have bears.
