Does anyone have the specs for making a floorboard for the Seveylor HF 280 Fish Hunter inflatable boat? Also which is best 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch plywood for the flooring? I'll be picking up the wood in about a week. Any info would be helpful.

not sure about the spec but i would think about a product called plytanium. it is impregnated with a wax and holds up to moisture great. we have had a sheet exposed to the weather as a scaffold sheeting for well over a year and it is showing little sign of dammage from the weather. its isnt cheap but it was less than marine grade plywood. as to 1/2 or 3/4 i would say 3/4 its much stronger

strech1223 thanks. Where can I pick up this Plytanium and est cost? I was going to use reg plywood and waterproof it. Also where can I pick up some marine grade plywood? I took measurements at 2 inch intervals and pretty much got decent specs. I should be ok with that. Going to put a rubber strip around the edges and them round foam tubing on top of that.

home depot had the plytanium. not sure of the price since lumber prices change every tuesday and the tornados will drive the prices up it was around 40 a sheet. the marine grade is about double that. i would suggest calling a large lumber supplyer in your area and see what they say
