I know I'm kind of a Muzzy man myself. Been with them for 12 years. I did the field test for Muzzy with the MX-4. Even though I haven't tried the ST's yet to make a comparison. The MX-4 flew like a dart with 1.8 inch vanes. My tune of my bow had a lot to do with that. I shot a 155 lb doe at 27 yards. The doe went less than 5 yards. The MX-4 went through that doe like butter. I will be conducting the test firing for the MX-3 for Muzzy in the near future. I've heard a lot of good things about the Slick Trick broadhead. I personally haven't had any blades of the Muzzy's break or bend. I watched the field testing of the Muzzy's. They shot it threw a 50 gallon drum 23 times before a blade finally bent. The blades were still fairly sharp. This is all verifiable by calling Muzzy. Fred Settles has a copy of my report if anyone desires to know. I'll also contact Muzzy for a possible sponsorship to our site. Just like to get your thoughts on both broadheads.

I used ST's this year and was very pleased with them the way the flew and the way it went through deer. Previous years I used three blade Muzzy 100's with no real complaints but I fell for the hype of the ST's and I love them.

Bob 1961 The Muzzy broadheads are made of steel along with the Trocar tip. The blades are not aluminum.
