WOW!! $17.50 at Friendship.... Grafs & Sons carry it, as does Powder Inc. But you have to buy a bunch to get a deal. Then with the hazmat fee,,,,you ain't saving much.

Thats a great price chief!! More reason to go to friendhip next year!

Never tried the Swiss. Kinda like the smell and sooted up hands and clothes and the lingering smoke hanging in the air from regular Black Powder! We , club members, pay $ 11.00 a lb. for Goex....

woodswalker, the swiss is real black powder. Since its US introduction in the late 1990’s, the Swiss Black Powder has become the powder of choice among black powder competitors. Unsurpassed quality with greater power, lower standard deviations and superior performance results in higher competition scores. The factory for the Swiss black powder is ISO 9001 certified. i have been a goex smoker for years & never will go back as long as swiss is available. Much cleaner burning and consistent. I had doubts until i shot my first swiss.

And it smells just like Goex. ;D If I couldn't get Swiss,,I'd go back to Goex 3F. I just like the consistency of both powders. You hafta clean 'em anyway,,so who cares?? I just like the extra "punch" Swiss gives on the big conicals. Fouling is slightly less too.
