anybody out there use one of the tree saddles. doesn't look very comfortable and hard to use. if you use one tell us about it.

i watched a show promoting the tree saddle , it sure didnt look to be a very comfortable way to hunt , in my opinion just another gimmick.

zodiak it's just a sling you sit in and it hangs on the tree. kind of like the phone man when he climbs a pole. i think you screw something into the tree to stand on. but it's very small. looks like a foot killer. can be found in bass pro or cabela's catalog

I bought a treesaddle a couple years a go.I bought it mainly for hunting a few areas where there's no suitable trees for climbing.So far,I haven't hunted from it but I have taken it several times to try.I use a set of lone wolf climbing sticks to get where I want and use three strap on steps as a platform to stand on.
