What brand of deer call do you guys use? I am looking for a call that you don’t need to blow your brains out to get to work. Every new call I have bought you need to blow into quite hard to produce a sound and the sound is usually quite loud. My fear is that if I have a deer close but not close enough I don’t want a super loud call that will spook deer rather than entice them to choose the trail im on. I lost my translator and can’t find any place locally that carries them. You could really control the volume of that call

I've been using an A-Way(I think that's the name)for the last 5 seasons. It's an inhale only call that the mouthpiece pins on your collar and the sound tube pins elsewhere--totally hands free and the reeds won't freeze up like an exhale call

If it's a grunt call your looking for the a-way that jimpic has mentioned for close encounters is perfect at full draw you can achieve noise to stop the deer in your shooting lane. I also use the true talker when blind calling or for those out past 50yrds or so.
As far as other deer calls I use the doe estrus original can, and heavy horns rattle bag
