Whats your favorite Gas Lantern? I bot a Coleman North Star a couple years ago & its the best Ive ever owned. Very bright, reliable & great to have metal cage protectin the globe! I have owned a number of Colemans over the years and they still work but this is the best one of the lot per my experience. I found that the Coleman Fuel is the best even though Unleaded gas does work in the Dual Fuel models. A great tracking tool if you hit one late & go out after dark to track. Dried blood looks flourescent under a Colemen light.

You cannot beat those old green lanterns(havent used the new ones) i have three infact one is red, that hum of a coleman lantern is almost the sound of the outdoors. loggy you are right they are one of the best lights for blood trailing i have ever used.

Agree rs. I got one of the ole red ones too. Has a few generators & a pump replacement or 2 under its belt but still works great.

I found that the Coleman Fuel is the best Hey Loggy, that coleman fuel is good, but Wal Mart carrys a brand,I belive it's called Ozark Trail, seems to work just as good, and it's cheaper. Oh yea, Coleman lanterns, here too.
