Has anyone used this stuff before? I picked up some socks and a shirt on clearance at Wally World. I'm not expecting Scentloc performance, but I don't want to wear something out that wil just make it worse.

Steeler, the stuff really works. Sounds a little science fictionany, silver ions attacking bacteria and destroying it but there definately is something here. I bought Cabela's MTP version 3 years ago. So impressed that last year I bought the socks, head cover and jacket. At my local sporting good store they have a display for the x-static(all the same stuff, silver) that says take the 5 day challenge. If you can smell bodily odor after 5 days - return for a full refund.
I actually think a more effective way to utilize this would be to wear the x-static underwear to destroy scent and a charcoal lined jacket(scent-lok) over top to prevent any other scents from escaping.
Wear the socks a couple days in a row and see if you smell anything.

I used X-static gear last year as base layers, and I firmly believe that it does work. On some of those muggy days when you couldn't help but sweat your hind end off I had deer within spitting distance of me that never knew I was there... Cool thing was, even after sweating in it all day the stuff never smelled bad! I was amazed!! I think it's a safe way to go for those who don't want to shell out the big buck for Scentlock stuff.
