mr long i had a tasco accudot never had any problems with it,then again never had it in a rainstorm either..on my slug guns and 1187 turkey gun not anymore..
bsas are cheaper but ive had good luck with them also.
tell you the truth im not so sure that any red dot scope is waterproof, they arent sealed with gas vapors just see through lenzs, unless a top name manufacturer makes one??nikon ,leupold etc
been there done that,in my opinion take off those red dots and put some gobble dot sights on them or just use the bead, for shots under 40 yards you really dont need a scope,i had all these neat gadgets before also,i know some people like the red dots cause low light conditions but ifi cant see the birds head and its that dark out i wont even shoot it,,sometimes keeping it simple is the best bet, less to go wrong..good luck

won't go out with out one. make aiming easier when close and pattern doesn't have time to open.

Tried scopes over the years but found the TRU-Glo finer Tru-Point Turkey fiber optics to be the best for me. Simple, bright, fine bead for close shots. Much finer F.O. then factory offering which is good for close work.

Have you considered a low power scope.(2 1/2 or 4 x)either will give you a good field of view and a precise aiming point.

I've been using a BSA 30mm red-dot on my Benelli for the past 4 seasons.Still using the original battery.
