when rifle or archery hunting what is your most valuable piece of equipment besides your bow or rifle.

My license!! ;D A knife, and in bad weather, good raingear. If I'm going to grounds I don't hunt much, a compass. Don't need one in a couple spots I hunt, like my buddies farm, 1/2 to 3/4 a mile in any direction brings you to a road.......

"Light anywhere" stick matches in a water-proof container with dry tinder,,and a "space blanket" in my backpack. A Zippo lighter also accompanies me.

don't know what to list. i carry so much it's hard to guess whats most important. the one thing i shouldn't forget is the wifes broadheads. got in the woods and she called me and said where are my broadheads for my crossbow. luckily we were close to home.

Rifle season I take a knife, drag rope, shooting sticks, grunt call and something to sit on or atreestand.I also never hunt without good binoculars.During archery season the only thing I add is a rangefinder and a small saw.I take as little as possible with me.When I leave,I check my weapon, ammo, lisence, knife and binoculars.
