Maybe go to loose 3fg bp l and start at 70 grains & work up. The 295 powerbelt aerotip & the 370 grain maxiballs shot well out of my 1-48 tc firestorm with loose powder.. Some guns just dont like their prescriptions in pill form...they like powder.

Loggy hit it right on the head. Go to loose powder and work up from 70 or 80gr. Try it in 5gr increments until you get a peak in accuracy. (it will actually go back down as you pass the peak)..My Omega wouldn't shoot anything with exact pellets, so I went to loose and BINGO.

going to loose powder really defeats the purpose. The reason I bought it was to use pellets. Guess I'll just wrap it around a tree maybe that might improve it

skwirl, i bot a TC Firestorm that was supposed to be good with pellets...not!!! unreliable ignition plus tuff to refine loads.
Only benefit was a removable breechplug. Not sue if yours is removable or not.
if you cant get "tight" groups...get "loose"! ;D

If I may suggest----if you must use pellets-----buy the 30 gr pellets and try 30gr then go to 50 gr with the 50s you have, then go to 60 gr by using 2 30s, then go to 80 gr using a 50 and a 30, then go to 100 using 2 50s....get the idead....gives you lots of options still using pellets. If that doesnt work you will have to go to loose.

Loggy it has the removable breech plug Hey that gives me an idea, I'll take out the breech plug and blow darts through the barrel Maybe I can hit something that way

I see you got it worked out but here is what I have anyway. I bought this same gun a few years back. I used it one season with loose APP 80g and round balls. That's what they sold me when I bought the gun. I did ok with it. The next season my son used two APP sticks (100g total ) and powerbelts. He was much better then I ever was with my setup. The drawback was the extra cost of the sticks and powerbelts.
