I seen the stryker in the gun shop I go to, which by the way is "Sportmans Supply" just south of Butler, it's an awesome looking cross bow. the price on it was 1800.00.

I have test fired the Stryker. I crono'd 401 FPS. It's extremely quiet. It was as though I fired my bow. I liked the decocking system. It's salty as far as the price though. It has everything the xbow shooters has been asking for. Gander Mt has the price set at $1695.

One bad crossbow!!! (Check the AT crossbow threads) It is heavy but very accurate and I can't see the arrow in flight on 30 yard shots it's so fast. I'm getting 406 fps with 425 grain arrows. Arrow damage is always a potential problem when they are flying that fast so choose your targets carefully :-)

This is only my recommendation when shooting the Stryker. I would use aluminum arrows and not carbon bolts. For the amount of energy being generated when fired. It only takes a a very small crack that may not be noticeable to the eye. There's always a chance of the carbon bolts exploding. I've seen this happen with a regular bow and carbon arrow. A bow is not generating that much energy and it still happens. I'd air on the safe side myself.

Yep...got the carbon fiber version. As Moonkryket says...for now...it's the baddest bow out there.
A little heavy, but because of the long term accuracy capability and the cocking device, well worth the extra heft. No plastic arrow track here!! The only bow out there that can be "uncocked" without actually shooting an arrow.
