(2 guys dress sweats quite happy) Anyway do we have a formal plan yet. Nothing "formal" on this hunt!! ;D They have agree to provide us one xtra nite since we have a good sized group! We have the entire Lodge reserved for 4 nites:(11/8-11/12 departure day). For those who want to arrive on Thurs (11/8) & hunt Friday it will give ya an xtra huntin day. Monday (11/12) is departure day. When we get closer ...we will need to notify them how many are coming in Thurs so they know how many guides needed Fri at first lite. I plan to leave early Thurs morning & get there Thurs nite & hunt Friday.

I`d like a ride if possible. That sounds like it would work best for me.

I am planning on leaving Thursday also and hunting on Friday. Will be calling Tn and confirming this a little closer to departure. Have a new minivan if anyone wants to share costs. I am in western Pa and plan on going down I-79.

I'm in Harrisburg and have a Toyota 4-Runner that gets decent mileage and I have a hitch rack for coolers. I'd be happy to take a rider or two and share expenses.

Well my minivan has the sto n go seats, all fold under the floor and leave plenty of room for coolers, gear and whatever else needs a ride to Tn and back. Not saure about mileage yet, only 600 miles on it but should be over 22 mpg.

soupe,
maybe me, you and GBJ can hook-up? I can drive up to hsb area & meet possibly.
I know bcf, PB (Son) Skip and Biilly Graham will be coming out of reading area so likely they will be carpooling.
Berks...correct me if this is wrong.
We have others that havent chimed in yet but hopefully something can be arranged in the western area with rex.

Loggy, our plans are still being organized, but Ken and I will drive together because on the way home we will probably drop by to visit my sister in southern WV. Not sure yet when we'll drive down.
Skip and Bill will drive together, but I'm not sure which day they plan to head down either.
Both vehicles are SUV's and could fit another passenger. We figured four longrifles would need space to stretch themselves out using up one of the rear seats, but one hunter in the back with guns on the dropped fourth seat should work fine.
I will take this opportunity to present my offering to the hunter havesting the heaviest boar. I am finishing up a powder horn for the hunt with some scrimshawing, and will inscribe the winners name following the hunt. It is no big deal, I just enjoy working on horns, but it adds a little incentive, perhaps.
