Congrats on the geese Zippyduck!!!! I went out sataurday and all I got was 7 empty shells . Got setup in a neighboring farmers fields(gotten a hot tip from a friend of mine that they were using this field every morning) well before daylight. At about 7am had to answer the call of nature(#1), and sure enough here they come (and I had the wrong gun in my hand ;D), managed to get to the shotgun and fire a volley of 3 - missed, about 10 minutes later a loner came in, but I fired too early and missed, managed to miss with a volley of 3 about 30 mins later on a group of 6. Decided to check out Yeloow Creek SP at about 10 am, only thing I saw there was a 200 or 300 lb bear. Found out last night while cleaning my 870 that I had inadvertantly left the IC choke in the barrel instead of the full choke . Lesson learned - "Always check your choke" ;D

Hey Todd all I use when field hunting is IC. The birds are usually within 25 yards. If I am going to hunt pressured birds I might go up to modified. Ann that was the most fun without a kid I have had in a long while.
