This is the best year I've had!! The watermelons are just starting to really come on & I've been picking cukes already, oops forgot my zukes!! (They're in another spot) Only problem is, the tomatoes are so large I can barely get in between them, I swear they grow while you watch, feel like I'm in the movie- ATTACK of the Killer Tomatoes!!LOL ;D

With the heat setting in, I picked the rest of the lettuce tonight & planted more green beans....also transplanted some volunteer tomatoes I had coming on nicely to new spots. Tomorrow I will start some brussels, broccoli and more lettuce inside for a fall harvest.

I'm just starting to get maters myself, you'll get peppers....keep up with the kelp/epsom salt mixture! But BE CAREFUL!!! Look what happened to my nice little garden.......that's my pepper patch in the front....and acorn squash next to the maters, I've never seen it so big!! Tomatoes kept falling, cages & all - bent them, had to stake the cages up. Watermelon patch....this is only 3 plants, plus one cantalope on the end. 12'X12' area

Zodiac, that is an amazing garden! All your fingers must be green, not just your thumbs. My "garden" is more along the lines of Loggy's. I have 2 pepper plants, 5 tomato plants, and a wire tower for cucumbers.
Since I'm so limited for space, I borrowed a friend's approach to my tomato plants. To keep them within the limits of my garden (3 ft. by 12 ft.), I removed the suckers, and after four flower groups appeared, I topped the main stem. As the bottom leaf clusters start to dry up, I'm clipping them as well. The plants look a little anarexic, but they are producing some fine looking tomatoes!
You must be one busy person come canning time. Well done.

Thanks bcf, I swear the kelp makes a difference!! One time I fertilize with MG, next with a liquid kelp mixture......plus throw all the left-over minnies from fishing in there!! Hoping to can lots of sauce & salsa from the tomatoes, and will cook, mash & freeze the acorn squash, stuffing & freezing lots of peppers too!! Now to add a deer or 2 to the freezer(and grouse & pheasant of course! ) & I'm all set for winter foodstuffs!!
