I know the turkey hunters will hammer me but i am waiting for the end of turkey season so i can go back to my early morning woodchuck hunts!!

use to love hunting whistle pigs with my 22-250 the longer the shot the better. great tweener for hunting seasons. does anybody eat them . an old guy i worked with loved them

i too enjoy hunting woodchucks,and yes i have ate them,if they are cared for properly they are not to bad. they have a musk sack on each side that has to be removed,and they should be cleaned as soon as possible after they are shot,than soaked in salt water in the fridge,changing the water several times,than bbq sauce and the grill.
