the area i hunt is mostly forested,i set up to call early mornings and late afternoons watching across ravines , hollows ,narrow valleys with a scope sighted varmit rifle.most times the coyote is not comeing to the call,it just gets them up and moveing so you can spot them and get the shot. a much more effecient way is to run them with dogs, i just enjoy hunting them my way.

Coyotes do infact come to calls. It doesnt just "get them up and moving so you can spot them." Hunt nights if you want results. Buy yourself a red light.

My post stated ,most time when i get a shot the coyote is not comeing to the call,i am sure with all your years of experence you have taken dozens or even hundreds of coyotes but the question was WHAT DO I DO, and that was my reply,if you enjoy night hunting, great, but i will continue to hunt my way.
