Well my grandfather and I had an itch to try out my new 22-250!! HAHA We ended up killing two hogs seen two more that we couldnt get a shot at! here are a couple pics!

I saw the title "a few hogs" and I was like WTH, I didnt know we had wild pigs in PA. Then I see a picture of a groundhog.. lol..

aw man i thought ya was talking bout pigs not ground hogs ....nice shooting wish i had a place to shoot some, all the hogs i see are at the road side munching on grass...............bob

Yesterday with the heat they were everywhere. The count is now 10 and one with a "mohawk" !!! Shot just a wee bit too high.

Nah, I don't eat them, but I do place some of them in an area that gives me a chance for a shot should a yote be looking for a quick meal. ;D

Yea I thought so too. I like to recycle anything and everything when I can. I've even scraped up some road kill from time to time to feed the critters. As soon as the weather gets warm again, they'll be eating good in the neighborhood again !!!!!!! ;D

Make that 12. The grass is getting high. Have to wait till they stand up or just at the holes. The only trouble with that is they fall back in the holes when shot. Darn, I just had an idea. I'll get a stick with a hook on it and carry it on the quad. That way I can recycle them. I can do a little fish'in while hunt'in !!!!!!!!! ;D ;D

How do you shoot groundhogs.. do you call them or just let them come out of holes. And where do you go to hunt them?? Just big fields?
