Was up in Potter county hunting turkey two weeks ago and had one come in to our calling. My buddy decided to educate him though, by launching a 20 ga turkey load at him at 120 yds ;D I never saw so much yote sheet as I did walking the trails up in Potter County , there seemed to be a pile every 50 yds

Never had a yote come in, but had a fox sneak around a field looking at the decoys once, he never went after them though.

First Tuesday of this years season, about 10:30 after calling like a mad man I seen a brown flash way out to my right. he was running up to the power lines that was at my back pretty darn fast. At first it never crossed my mined that it was a coyote , Then I could see it clearly and new just what it was I took out my turkey call and replaced it with a predator squeaker and gave him a loud fast series of calls and in he cam . Never paid any mined to my turkey decoys and ran right though them at 25 or so yards. I hit him with a 2-3/4'' #6 shot and rolled him head over heels just to watch him regain his composure with out missing a step and head out of dodge, ya I took a 2 shot but as most of my 2 shot I never hit anything but dirt. he barked and growled off in the distance 3 or 4 times , After we look for a hour he gave us one last bark but he was never found. A couple funny things from that day, 1, It was not my first run in with Mr, coyote, But if you were there you would thought I never seen one before ;D I have called may coyote in and killed them but I was shaking like it was my first coyote i ever seen. 2, I found it funny that the guy I was calling turkey for also makes my predator calls. and the look on face when he seen the call I had around my neck wasn't one of his 3. Every day turkey hunting for the last 5 or 6 years I have worn a predator call around my neck, when that coyote showed up first thing I said to myself was I wish I had a squeaker .A split second later I realized I did ;D What did I learn, 1, Keep taken the predator call out when turkey hunting, And preferably one of Todd's when he is with me, 2, Never , never, hunt with a 2-3/4 shell when my gun shoot 3'' 3, Take the time to turn the camera that was set up beside me to record and not standby
