The cartridge has been a main stay in the hog fields of PA for at least 40 years..I personally don't think there's anything better..id you limit the yardage to 400 or so it's hard to beat...if you agree, post some pics of yours, if you disagree, tell us why and what's your favorite..pics if you got em..HERE's mine..700 VS, Tasco World Class Plus 10-40 and a jewell trigger....shooting MOLY coated 50 grain V-max's...about 3600 fps. That's a good combo for sure. But I'm shooting a win model 70 243 wssm with a 6.5 -20 leo. Now this setup will reach out and touch them !!!!!!!!! Just love the long shots !!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D

nice rig frank! i like the 22-250 as well but also use a custom 6mm for chucks and yotes as well as the ar-15 .223 and lets not forget the 204 ruger

I had a rem 788 22-250 while they were making them. Loved it!! Wish it wasnt discontinued. A great chuck round for sure.
