lets here why you use the bolts that you use carbon or aluminum ,which ones are better in your opinion?

I prefer aluminum arrows to carbon an old archer,hard to change old habits I guess1

I started with carbon & they shot SO well I saw no need to try anything else!! Thats my story & I'm stickin' to it!!!

I have them both, and believe it or not, they both shoot the same. Either one will group identically at 30yds and under. I would have thought there would at least be a difference in trajectory, but not in my case. They are 20", with 100gr target tips out of a Horton 175lb CB. Nice thing about the aluminum is, if you're hunting a field you can use a metal detector to locate a bolt buried in the ground cover.

i prefer carbon but have used aluminum with no problems,several years ago i bought a bulk order of carbons (10 doz) ,so i really dont believe i will ever go back to aluminum bolts.
