Friday night we went out spotting and had a coyote 50 yards away. watch him for a little bit. he pounced on something which was pretty neat to watch. i tryed to video tape but it came out to dark. Is it a bad time to hunt them. Does the fur look bad at this time. I have everything charging right now.

Had a pack of 8 on the east side of the property this morning, went out after them, but by the time I got everything ready they were gone. Been seeing them more regularly than usual this year.
xtremexrider - their pelts are no the best right now, wait until mid november to mid January for the better quality pelts. I just shoot them these days for predator control and skinning practice.

I came about as close to killing one as you could without actually killing him..he starting barking and howling no more than 75 yards from me right at daybreak..I was all decked out in orange, it's inline mizzloaders special buck in southern OHIO hunts when he started...I quickly un-oranged and started sucking on my hand...he came flying, it was just to thick or I'dda drilled him with a 240 XTP...it was awesome...I'll be BACK THURSDAY...armed with some predator calls this week...
