Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know our seminar went very well, we had about 65 people attend. Doug was very interesting and informative to hear speak. Thanks to all you attended, and I hope to see you all at the Coyote Hunt detailed below:
2008 Cresson Sportsmans Statewide Coyote Hunt $5000 Guarenteed (Minimum) Prize Money
You can sign up online at CressonSportsmans.com
Or you can find our sign up forms in both January and the first February Issues of PA Outdoor News. Or please call (814) 886-7727 and I will get on in the mail to you.
The rules are pretty much the same as everyother hunt, since they were all pretty much patterned from the one Mosquito Creek Started.
Last year was a great success, and we are really looking forward to this years hunt.
The Hunt will start at 12:01am Friday March 7th, and the last coyote must be turned in by 6:00 pm Sunday March 9th.
You can mail entries in till March 2nd, or sign up in person or online till 11:59pm March 6th.
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC - Stop by and see whats going on...
The club house and bar will be open Thursday March 6th starting at 4:00pm.
There will be a fish dinner on Friday March 7th starting at 4:00 pm.
We will also be open for breakfast lunch and dinner during all days of the hunt, and the bar will be serving all in attendance. (This year we purchased a licence to serve everyone so we don't have to worry about the members and signing non members in, etc.)

Sounds like a good deal and good time of year to hold it. I'll check into it.

turned in at that location, that really puts time constraints on people who live 4 hours or more away.

There aren't many who live that far away...
Chciora is only 1:50 minutes from Cresson.
We extended it to 6pm, so people can hunt later.
Other hunts end weigh ins at 12:00 noon.
With our hunt, you can hunt till noon, and still be there in plenty of time to have a good dinner and a few beers...
Thanks for your concern, hope you change your mind...

I believe it all depend where you are at. I see lots of coyote tracks but no human foot prints. The coyote numbers are not as high as we think. their nature is what makes them so hard to call. The state is large and the amount of coyote hunters is still low.
