I used to use a 4X8 trailer. Now I use my my son's pickup. Most times I just jump on my quad and go. It's only a half mile to the woods. If you wear a helmet and obey traffic laws, the police will allow it. I have never used mine to hunt, but I use it to fish the river.

I haul my Honda Rancher both in the bed of my truck or on a 4 X 10 tilt trailer, depending where I'm going. It's alot easier to use the trailer but some places I go just don't have the room for parking the truck and trailer. My truck has a high cap on it so I run a ratchet strap across the front 2 bed holddowns, then use the atv winch hooked to the ratchet strap to winch it up the ramps into the bed. The handlebars just clear the cap.
