Iraq is a problem that just won't go away. Hindsights 20/20 but now I wish we would have never went to war with Iraq. We're now stuck and it seems like there's no getting out.

Amen rrroae! The original quick hit w/"shock & awe" is now shocking us. Its a never ending civil war with no end or solution that we can provide. Too many lives being lost & a drain on our suffering economy with no lite at the end. Sure saddam was a merciless killer as are thousands of other dictators & heavians throughout this world. There are NO WMD there & no threat to our shores originating from Iraq ...time to move out ASAP in a way that we can safely get our men/women out!!!

These people don't fight war's the way we are usually fighting wars. They fight dirty, they don't care about their civilians, they hide bombs and bomb making facilities in shcools and mosque's, it's a different kind of fight, and we went in with a traditional tactics. I guess it would not have been popular, but just send in some elite units, under cover to take care of what needed taken care of. No need to tell the public what is going on like we did with this one. Iraq knew we were coming there for months before we actually did anything. Heck, we all know they had dirty weapons, they used them on their own people. Problem was they had plenty of time to either move them, or destroy them before we got there. My personal belief is that the bio weapons they had are now in Syria.
This war, with the screwups in the beginning, and now that the country is divided, is doomed. I can't support the actual war anymore, but guess what, we have alot of americans over there right now that need taken care of . I say get all the d**n reporters out of there, fight the war without people crying about the way we are fighting, it's war for Christ's sake, people die in war's. One last point I would like to make is, we hear on the news and on here about what the US should do, or why we are there, or whatever. Not one person, who is not in the position has any clue as the the real happenings over there. 90 percent of the people who are complaining about the war do not have enough information to even comment on it, let alone make a decision about it. We as the american public probably get about 20 percent of the information. We don't know everything about the war, or why it started. I think if we sat down and looked at all the information some of us might change our minds. My biggest problem is getting un-biased information through the media. They all have either a left or right wing position , and that's the only part of the story you hear.

in my opinion there is no easy way out of this ,in any war people die,and as long as our soldiers are not allowed to fight a all out war we can not win.as distasteful as it is i feel it is time for a complete withdrawal and leave the mideast settle it on there own. the US can not police the world.

I think this war has taught us that, the problem will be, they are still a threat to us. Leaving them completly unchecked would be a mistake , but all out war doesn't work either. Have to completly change our strategy, maybe start fighting them the way they do us.

Let Mr. Deferment Chenny and Cowboy Action figure Bushy figure it out..put them on a football field with 3257 mothers who are crying for nothing and let them explain in detail "WHY"..now that would make a movie... Someday we'll learn, I hope we all live long enough to see it.... CORPORATE GREED to the max....

Some one said sand plus heat equals glass I think its time to make some glass I also heard that dirt plus heat makes hardened clay. Not sure if we want a World with only those 2 things left which would be the result when the "first button" is pressed.

The mistake we made going in was if there is if a person carrying a weapon he or she is a threat they die. CNN and Fox news photograph these people all the time with RPG's and ak's chanting anti American bull, why cant the army find em and off em. Its a sad situation over there war is war if you pose a threat you die. The @@@@ footin around over there needs to end, so the Men and Women of our armed forces can come home.

Heard today of big parades in bagdad protesting our presence there. The majority there wants us out. Its only gonna get worse IMO no matter how many we send in. Bring our troops home before none are left to bring home outside of in body bags..
