well... i have been researching and looking everywhere for my first flintlock rifle, i have been given alot of good input from various people on here and have considered many different things in my journey to my decision. my first choice was to be a 54 cal. great plains rifle and then i was going to consider the thompson centers as my second choice. as it turns out i ended up going with the later of my 2 choices, because i ran accross a really great deal on a "unfired" TC Hawken (kit gun, although its awesome looking). what it came down to was the fact that TC makes great guns and stand behind there products, as well as the fact that it is more then capable of handling anything i will likely hunt with one. i put the pics in a short video so i could see what everyone thinks, just curious...did i make a good decision or do you think i should have went with my first choice?

You will like that gun. I also have one exactly like that with a laminated stock and it shoots well.
