How many of you get seriously offended in a heated debate/posting online? I would like to know. Are you all worried that some kid will read our posts and be like, "OH MY GOSH!!!" Do we not think/believe they hear ten times worse at school? If a kid is that young that you think they shouldn't hear or see things as such, they probably should not be wandering the internet unsupervised also. Just venting. You all seem liek great folks that have their heads on tight. Can we keep it that way? Thanks for the time to rant.... Sincerely, mofo1

I, for one, don't debate politics or religion, period(and SH & HR!!). May joke about it, or voice an opinion, but you will never change ones personal beliefs, so the point of arguing it is mute. I also watch my P's & Q's around kids, so therefore on anything I post, I can effectively make a point w/o explitives or berating someone. Believe me, I can swear like a truckdriver sometimes, but not around some people, whether they are kids, or someones grandmother. At our dog training club, everyone tries to watch what they say all day, usually young ones running about, but around the campfire at night, the talk changes quickly, and I usually start it. ;D

It's a tough situation when we get a bunch of hunters and fishermen together and expect the language to stay clean. Of course we want to have young people involved in the discussions but I've never been around a camp, tavern, neighbours, etc., where I've heard a clean converstaion especially when talking hunting. Then add this whole internet discussion forums thing and it becomes really hard for some of us to talk clean.
I guess it's just best to keep things pretty clean in case we have some youngsters around just as long as we don't PC ourselves to death. It's amazing all the new words I'm learning to replace my curse words!!
