Lets gather pics, description etc. of all who either had a muzzleloader built for them, built their own or acquired otherwise. We are all proud of this Traditional Sport so let the Smoke roll!! ;D
I had Brad Emig build me a 54 Cailber PA Mountain Rifle this past Summer. When I went into Cabin Creek Muzzleloading Shop & was greated by owner/gunbuilder Brad Emig. He handed my gun to me & said "What Do You Think??" I was at loss for words when my eyes landed on this beautiful "work of art"!!! The Northern Curly Maple was magnificent to say the least. I threw the gun up & just sighed...what a balanced rifle. That silver frt site contrasted very nicely on a TN Hog this past Novemer!! ;D
The silver wrist inlay with my initials along with Brad's engraved signature on the barrel help make this a treasure i will enjoy the rest of my life!!! Brad was also right in that the mill graded #3 Northern Curly Maple was in a true Grade #4 class.
Brad is a true gentleman & a superior craftsman that is a rarity in todays Modern World. Anyone looking for a gun & experience of a lifetime...be sure to give Brad Emig an opportunity to fulfill your dreams. His 25 years of custom gun building has met my satisfaction 200% and then some!! Just walking around his magnificent gun building shop takes you back in time
