I have a Savage Model 99 chambered in 300 and was wondering what it is worth. It was my gret Uncles and he gave it to me with the original receipt. Gun was bought in 1947. Has the rotary magazine and shell counter is brass colored.
Any help would be appreciated.

Its one of those guns i wish I never would of sold. As rs posted...savageshooters.com is a great place to start. Best of luck.

I checked out the site and I believe I have a G model. It has a SN range of 544K. In very good condition according to the articles I have read. Still has about 90%+ of the markings on the lever.
I will never sell this gun as my Uncle has passed and not sure I will even shoot it. Sure is sleek and feels nice in my hands though.
Just nice to have around as a momento.
Thanks for everyones suggestions.
