I've heard good and bad about this caliber. If you own one or ever fired one let us know what you think

Wonder how destructive they are to the pelts to coyotes and foxes? I've been toying with the idea in getting that caliber for my Contender.

ive thought about it for my contender as well but went with the 223 reason beings are cheaper to shoot, more versitile for the hand loader and easier to obtain factory ammo and in alot of configurations. The 204 is a very fast flat shooting accurate round with that said most of the time the faster the round the more pelt damage done and since there are not alot of offerings as of yet for the 204 bullet selection is minimal.

A friend of mine has the 204 in a CZ heavy bbl. it is a very accurate combo.,but with a crosswind there is a lot of bullet drift and accuracy suffers.as for pelt damage,he shot a fox at 175yds and the pelt damage was severe.
