Maybe the new management team will actually cause them to build something we might buy...how many .223's. 22/250's and .308's do we need to buy..they need to get in touch with the shooters, SAVAGE has really come along way in listening to the wants of it's customers.. The need to offer a flat forearmed stainless bolt action in some of the great long range bangers...6.5/284, 6BR fast twist, 6.5X47 Lapua and also their fantastic SAUM line, WW beat them to the promotion, while they went to the UM's..hopefully they will respond to the people that actually buy their products, can't buy more of what we already have...

Well said! i believe the market is out there for the shooter all the firearm mfgs. have to do is start building what they want.in my opinion most hunters buy there deer rifle and that is what they use ,but the benchrest crowd is always looking to improve and try something new and better, without the cost of a custom build and as Frank said i believe savage arms is proving that.

don't trust any of these groups the only thing they worry about is a dollar not what people want.

frank great loads for shooting and hunting but most people want to go to their local dicks and pick up some ammo. some loads are expensive to buy my 300 ultra 37 dollars a box most people don't want to pay that much money. my self you get what you pay for. let's hope they come out with something good.
